#1. Heroic Warrior Goddess
“Snapped during the exhilarating Tet celebrations of 2024,” Nau shares, “This photo captures the fierce grace of Vietnamese women, then and now.” The shot centers on a young woman, garbed as a valiant goddess of war, who takes center stage. Sword in hand, a magnificent qilin by her side, she embodies triumphant elegance, Nau’s clever use of a wide-angle lens and a trio of strategically positioned lamps helped to craft a scene loaded in dramatic allure.
#2. On The Race
“I took this picture of supermodel Trang La, a beacon of fortitude and tenacity, during an Iron Man challenge. It really shows her unyielding spirit.” Nau remembers about the shot in which he captured Trang in all her glory, tackling a daunting 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike ride, and a 21-kilometer run. “This picture is a testament to Trang’s unstoppable athletic prowess and indomitable will, mirroring the vibrant energy of today’s contemporary women!” Nau decides.
#3. A Star Is Born
“One unforgettable day, I snapped the dazzling ‘Queen of Vietnamese Entertainment’, Ho Ngoc Ha. Since that star-struck moment in 2011, my photography career has been on a dazzling upward trajectory.” The backdrop was a swanky café, awash with nature’s own spotlight. Ha slipped into an exquisite JoliPoli bridal gown, morphing into a majestic princess. It was a moment of pure, stylish magic.
